What Do Our Volunteers Do?

Our volunteers play a vital role in bringing Vidette Makes' mission to life. They assist with organizing and facilitating workshops, help set up and manage events, support community outreach, and contribute their skills and expertise to various projects. Volunteers are essential in fostering a collaborative environment where makers of all kinds can connect, learn, and create together.

Who We're Looking For

  • We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about community engagement, creativity, and collaboration. Any skillset, profession or age welcome!   • Workshop Facilitator: Lead or assist in hands-on workshops, guiding participants through STEAM-related projects.​

  • Event Coordinator: Help plan, organize, and execute community events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

​​

  • Outreach Coordinator: Assist in promoting Vidette Makes' initiatives and connect with local schools, businesses, and community groups.

​​

  • Project Support: Contribute to the development and execution of ongoing community projects.

​​

  • Mentor: Offer guidance and mentorship to individuals or groups, sharing expertise in specific areas like crafting, coding, engineering, etc.

  • Social Media & Marketing Assistant: Help create content, manage social media accounts, and promote events and initiatives.

​​

  • Fundraising Assistant: Support efforts to raise funds for Vidette Makes' programs through events, grants, or community partnerships.

​​

  • Administrative Support: Assist with managing documents, emails, event registrations, and other administrative tasks
